Overview

Zimbra, or ZCS (Zimbra Collaboration Suite) is developed by Zimbra Inc. (bought by Yahoo! in September 2007), under ZPL,  Zimbra Public License.

One of Zimbra's characteristics is that it's developed as a web service.
The whole AJAX interface is loaded at login time, then interactions, additions and modification of information are sent to the server by the SOAP protocol.
